Are you a movement professional who is seeking new tools for your toolbox to get better results for your clients?
Do you get frustrated when you know your client needs better neuromuscular connections in specific spots, but just isn't getting results as FAST as you want?
Or, is your client being held back by that ONE nagging problem that you can't work around without having to modify in a way that holds up their whole workout program?
Now's the time to consider adding suspension training to your teaching skill set.
Redcord is a neuromuscular suspension training apparatus that uses bungees, cords and slings to offload the body. Using instability and support, exercises performed in the slings help to correct imbalances and weakness in the body. CORE’S Suspension Teacher Training Program includes two training weekends and an apprenticeship designed to provide participants with the tools to use Redcord equipment safely and effectively.
“Kimberly's technical knowledge of RedCord combined with her background of dance give a keen insight to the human form and its movement, but it’s her experience in corporate America and passion for the human journey that help her teach and apply the philosophies of RedCord in a relatable manner. Kimberly’s layered approach with RedCord has helped me build strength well beyond my imagination.”

WEEKEND 1: SUSPENSION TRAINING FUNDAMENTALS (12 HOURS) - February 28-29
The focus of weekend one will be to learn the function and proper set up of equipment and to provide the teaching tools to determine what exercises are appropriate for clients. Students learn off loaded exercises in the prone, supine, side lying and standing positions with both bilateral and unilateral motions. These exercises provide the foundation for the practice.
APPRENTICESHIP PHASE 1 (30 HOURS + 1 OBSERVED TEACHING)
After weekend 1, each student begins an apprenticeship which includes:
12 observation hours (observing teachers in the studio)
12 practice teaching hours (teaching volunteer clients)
6 private lessons with a Redcord-trained teacher
1 observed teaching (teaching a session while being observed by a trainer) to be completed before the beginning of weekend 2.
WEEKEND 2: ADVANCED SUSPENSION TRAINING PROGRAM (12 HOURS) - April 24-25
In weekend 2, students learn the function of the AXIS, a pulley system that creates additional challenge with instability. Students will explore more advanced suspension training exercises that challenge stability without bungeed support. Students also learn how to do a movement screen analysis to identify imbalances in the client’s body and make appropriate exercise choices.
APPRENTICESHIP PHASE 2 (30 HOURS + 1 OBSERVED TEACHING)
The Phase 2 apprenticeship follows the same structure and number of hours as Phase 1, incorporating observation, practice teaching and private lessons to build students’ skill sets and confidence. The second observed teaching serves as the final test out for graduation from the program.
