Every single one of us has had our lives disrupted since COVID arrived. We’ve been stuck at home, doing our best to keep up with exercise, nutrition and stress management. But even with our best efforts to stay on track - - we’re feeling stuck, exhausted and worst of all, experiencing pain.

Now that we are four months into this new reality, integrating a fitness practice back into our lives is a must.

With CORE’s Reconditioning Program you will develop a new sustainable wellness plan that integrates mind-body movement with expert physical therapy.  Your plan and your team will keep you accountable so you can resolve pain and get back on track.

You know now – more than ever – your fitness is a key piece of your overall wellness plan, and you deserve to feel your best.

JESSICA GOWEN

Jessica founded CORE in 2006 to create her ideal wellness environment: a positive, friendly, team of experts that attracts outstanding instructors while providing exceptional client care. Her mind-body wellness journey began in Washington, DC, in 1998, where she took Pilates at Excel Movement Studios while working at a public policy oriented publishing firm. After experiencing the method's transformational effects, she left the policy world to teach Classical Pilates.

Jessica discovered GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®in 2004. She loved how it complemented her Pilates training and challenged her to take her work – both as practitioner and teacher – to a deeper level. She has completed certifications for Gyrotonic teaching, GYROKINESIS® teaching and all of the specialized Gyrotonic equipment. She was certified in both systems by the method's creator, Juliu Horvath. She is an Authorized Gyrotonic Expansion System Pre-Trainer and a Master Trainer.

A passionate entrepreneur, Jessica currently focuses on setting vision for the studio and directing its operations.

Jessica is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Allegheny College, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science in 1997. She holds a Master of Public Management degree from the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland at College Park.
