What is Activcore?
Activcore is a small, privately-held company that has physical therapy and performance (fitness) training centers in Georgia, New Jersey and Colorado. Their Atlanta location is between Morningside and Druid Hills and offers a full suite of services: physical therapy, Pilates, Redcord, strength training and, after our merger, Gyrotonic. You can read more about Activcore here.
Where is the studio located?
Activcore is located on Zonolite Road between Morningside, Woodland Hills, Midtown and Druid Hills. It is off of the North Druid Hills exit off I-85, about 10 minutes away from our old Pharr Road location.
Activcore’s address is 1145 Zonolite Road #13 Atlanta, GA 30306.
Will your entire team be at the new studio?
Yes! We are thrilled that all of our teachers – and our amazing Client Care Team Leader, Heather Moffitt, will be at our new location. Jessica Gowen is Activcore’s new Vice President of Performance Development.
What happens to my existing membership? Do I need to take any specific action?
If you are on an auto-billing plan, your payments will continue to be processed on your normal schedule. Your credit card statement will reference Activcore of Georgia as the payee.
What types of sessions are offered at Activcore?
Currently, Activcore is offering private instruction in all methods, and semiprivate instruction for people who live in the same household.
What specialties do Activcore’s PTs have?
General orthopedics, pelvic health, overhead and rotational sports, and yoga injuries.
When can I start coming in person?
CORE instructors who choose to return to in-person teaching at this time will be available starting Monday, March 1.
What COVID precautions are you taking for in-person teaching and PT?
Activcore is taking many precautions to guard against COVID exposure in our facility, including mandatory mask wearing, hand washing, distancing and upgraded sanitization protocols.
I had a credit on my account when CORE closed. What happens to that credit?
Activcore will apply your account credit toward a new membership. Please contact Heather Moffitt for specifics pertaining to your account.
What should I know about Activcore’s space?
Activcore’s center is a large, airy, fully-equipped studio that offers two large fitness rooms for Pilates, Redcord and Gyrotonic instruction as well as strength training. Activcore also offers several private physical therapy treatment rooms. The center has shower facilities and easy, plentiful drive-up parking immediately adjacent to the facility. No valet, no parking garage, no elevators!
I’m not ready for in person instruction yet. Can I keep taking virtual sessions?
Yes! We will continue to offer private, semi private and group instruction on our virtual platform. We anticipate these services being a permanent part of Activcore’s offerings.
Can I still use my Wellness Living account?
Yes! Activcore is using Wellness Living for all bookings and payments.
Will my private sessions still be on Google Meet?
No! With Activcore, each of our instructors will have a dedicated zoom link. We anticipate this will reduce or eliminate the technical challenges we’ve experienced with Google Meet. It also makes it possible for us to record all private sessions, if you would like to upgrade to a membership with lesson recordings.
