The Gyrotonic Expansion System will work to stretch, strengthen, and mobilize the entire body. The method focuses especially on the muscle groups surrounding the spine, pelvis, and abdominal core, including the rotators of the spine, pelvis and shoulders. Athletes looking to improve their swings and serves in golf, tennis, and baseball will experience a greater range of motion necessary for successful performance.


The Gyrotonic Expansion System includes specially designed exercises for clients who golf, and many of CORE's instructors have completed specialized training for working with Golfing clients. Gyrotonic sessions will strengthen and train torso, shoulder, arm, and hip motions unique to a golf swing as well as correct flawed movements. Exercises emphasize proper posture, spine spiraling, pelvis stabilization, and the importance of the forearm and wrist movements when holding a golf club.

While traditional weight training improves athletic strength, Gyrotonic will provide the combination of strength and flexibility training necessary for these sports. Our instructors are also knowledgeable in common sports injuries and how they can be both treated and prevented in the future.
